Keep the Marriage bed Holy

The lord wants us to flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on him from a pure heart.

What is a pure heart? A pure heart is that which loves God one hundred percent, there is no room in it for anything or anyone else.
2 Timothy 2:22

Our Body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Our bodies do not belong to us, they belong to the Lord. He has purchased us with a price, so then let us live for the Lord and glorify God in this body. 1Corinthians 6:19-20

This world is full of temptations. We are tempted from every side. When a evil thought presents itself to us, we must not entertain that thought even for a moment. If we will not flee from that thought, in other words take that thought captive to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, It will become increasingly difficult to overcome that thought.

John the apostle talks about how the lust of the eyes, lust of the world and the pride of life are passing away but the one who does the will of God will live forever.1 John 2:16-17

The bible warns us to keep the marriage bed undefiled, for God will judge the fornicators and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4

Jesus said "If any man or woman looks at the opposite sex to lust after them , they have committed adultery of the heart and are in danger of the very fires of hell" Matthew 5:28-30
Paul also mentions in1Corinthians 6:15-16 that if someone joins himself to a harlot, commit fornication or adultery, a union occurs because the two will become one flesh. Proverbs 6:32
tells us that the one who commits adultery lacks sense and destroys himself.

Our God is a gracious God and overlooks the times of ignorance.1 John 1:9
But now as believers we are exhorted not to grieve the Holy Spirit but to keep ourselves undefiled from the flesh.

May God help his people to walk in purity so that we can present our bodies as a living sacrifice, acceptable to God which is our spiritual service of worship.Romans 12:1-2
