God's desire for us is to have a humble attitude.He wants us be humble because he himself is humble. Matthew 11:29 The moment we become proud, he will have to resist us. 1 Peter,5,6 Satan is against us, our flesh is against us, We do not want God to be against us.
Well, you might say How is it possible to be humble when there are so many things around us that can puff us up. The material things that we have, our achievements in life, education ,health, bible knowledge, a good family, job, good looks, talents, wealth etcetera & etcetera.
The Apostle Paul inspired by the Holy spirit reminds us in 1 Corinthians 4:7, that all that we have and all that we are is a gift from God.
We have received it all.
It's not difficult to be humble when we know that we have received it all. May God give us light!
